Melissa is honored and excited to support Muske’s Bridge as the secretary, board member and close friend of Andrew and Jackie. Melissa Maust has been a resident of Ligonier since 2005. She and her family have been blessed to have been friends with Andrew and Jackie for almost as long. Jackie and Andrew, as individuals and as a married couple have had a profound and lasting impact on my life and the lives of my family. The influence they have had on us cannot be measured by a single moment or gesture—it is reflected in the values they helped nurture, the memories we share, and the countless ways they have enriched our lives.
Carol Fox is a lifelong native of western Pennsylvania. She was educated as a Family Medicine physician at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia and the Latrobe Hospital Family Medicine residency program. She spent the entirety of her career at one of the current Independence Health hospitals. She initially provided direct care for the community while teaching in the residency program. From there, she moved into administrative roles, both in the residency and for the hospital system, ultimately becoming the Chief Medical Officer for independence health. She retired from that role and moved on to become a Chief Grandmother Officer for her 3 beautiful grandchildren. Her career has been focused on safety, quality, and education of providers, patients and caregivers. She shares Jackie‘s passion about ensuring that patients and their loved ones have full information about their care and are equipped with the tools that they need to safely be cared for at home if that is their desire.
Serves as the chairperson and Professor in the PTA program and the Health Science B.S. majors at Mount Aloysius College. She has been a Physical Therapist since 2011 specializing in geriatric physical therapy with a special focus on public health issues. Emily is also passionate about patient advocacy in honor of her medically complex daughter. When not teaching, Emily practices physical therapy at a local senior living facility, focuses on being physically active, and can be found spending time with her husband, two children, and her dog.

Father Thomas P. Curry, O.S.B., is a native of Great Neck, New York. Born July 30, 1967, he is the son of Mary Lou Curry of Great Neck and the late Thomas P. Curry, Sr. His sisters are Mary Elizabeth Williams of Floral Park, New York, and Kathleen Mangels of Valhalla, New York.
Father Thomas attended Saint Aloysius elementary school and is a 1985 graduate of Saint Mary’s High School. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in quantitative analysis from Saint John’s University in 1989, and studied business at the University of West Florida. He earned the Master of Divinity degree from Saint Vincent Seminary in 2002. As a college student, he was named to “Who’s Who Among American Colleges and Universities” in 1989. He is a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon International Fraternity and served as secretary and president at the Theta Sigma Chapter at Saint John’s University.
He worked as an intern for the Navy Exchange headquarters in Staten Island, N.Y. after finishing college and was promoted to a buyer position at the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Florida, in June of 1990.
He made his simple profession of monastic vows July 10, 1997, at Saint Vincent Archabbey Basilica, and solemn profession of vows on July 11, 2000.
